"This home used to be my paternal grandparents' house and I have fond memories of this home. The owners did a WONDERFUL job of renovating it!! I love that they kept alot of the original charm, but updated it appropriately. I am so happy that it looks so AMAZING!! As my grandparents got older I remember the house and yard going down hill and what a SUPER job they did to restore it. I'm sure it was extremely hard work - but what a gem, well worth it.

To see the dining room still the same and the attic bedroom where I slept look so FABULOUS yet still the "bones" that I remember made me cry with memories of great times I had with my Pop Pop and Gram...

My dad (Phillip) and his two brothers (Parker and William) and one sister (Nancy) shared that attic room together growing up. After my dad, uncles and aunt moved out, my Pop Pop and Gram kept all the beds up there and made it a bedroom/playroom for the 13 grandchildren when we wanted to spend the night...

...My mom grew up on South 6th Street and she and my dad have been sweethearts since 2nd grade. They graduated from Wakefield High School and they're still madly in love today.  My brother and I were very fortunate to have both sets of grandparents so close, it was awesome to be able to walk between their houses...   

I live in Charlotte, NC now but have a real estate friend from DC who emailed my family this flyer.  It looks unbelievable and I hope they get every penny and then some. They deserve it. can't tell you how great it looks.  Best of Luck!"
